Giving

Our team participating at a St. Jude fundraiser

We have so much to be thankful for. As individuals and as a firm, we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to GIVE, with a mission of improving the lives of others. Following each transaction closing our firm donates to various charitable organizations (see below for the groups we proudly support). In addition to our structured giving commitments, we openly accept recommendations for persons/families needing assistance. If you know of someone in need, please connect with us.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Amplify Car Wash Advisors has pledged to make a charitable donation after each transaction closing. “Bill Martin and I have been very blessed to be a part of the car wash industry and have made a commitment to giving back”, said Jeff Pavone, partner at Amplify Car Wash Advisors. Following the Super Shine transaction closing, Amplify donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Motor City Wash Works’ 13th Annual Open House and Charity Event held in Detroit, MI in August.

Homeless Matters AZ, Inc.

When Homeless Matters AZ, Inc. began its ministry in January 2017, our goal was to make sleeping mats out of plastic bags for the homeless.  We quickly learned there was also a need for personal items  and began creating Compassion Bags to serve their needs as well.  While distributing our mats and compassion bags directly to the homeless on the streets, we realized the homeless were in different phases in their lives and when coming off the streets, needed help moving from the streets to a facility.  This led to creating relationships with other organizations who help those in need and Homeless Matters became a ministry not only in the streets but also to anyone in need. Homeless Matters has other organizations who now are volunteering and donating to our ministry.  We all work together and all are welcome regardless of their beliefs.  Some of our volunteers are:  Habitat, VFW post 7507 in Fountain Hills, American Legion District 11, The Reborn Church, La Casa De Cristo Lutheran. Scottsdale, The Red Mountain LDS Church Mesa, Salt River Stake LDS, Mesa, Fountain View Village Independent Living, Pueblo Norte Independent Living, Cloud Street Gathering, Valor Veterans Community, Knights of Columbus to name a few.  One of our biggest donors and supporters is Commercial Plus, LLC who donate blankets, wipes, crackers, baseball hats, or whatever is needed to fill our Compassion bags.  Our volunteers meet at St. Patrick’s on 84th & Shea each Sunday from 2:30 to 4 if anyone would like to join this beautiful ministry. We have sent mats to Africa, bedding to the Navajo Nation, etc.  Our volunteers do various projects according to their desires and abilities.  We knit our own hats for the compassion bags, make pillows out of the scraps we do not use when cutting the bags to create a ball. We donate clothing, shoes, toiletries, bedding or items to families as needed. Homeless Matters AZ, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit and can be reached:

Genius Recovery
Genius Recovery - Joe Polish

We are working to change the way people view and treat addicts: with compassion instead of judgement. We help find the best forms of treatment that have efficacy, and share those with the world.

Genius Recovery is a safe place for those in recovery and those who support recovery, to connect, collaborate, and contribute. We share the mindset that recovery and addiction should be viewed with compassion, not judgement.

We ask “Why the pain? Not, why the addiction.” This is hub to share experience, strength and hope, and a place where the world’s top recovery experts frequently share strategies and resources. Genius Recovery helps heal the pain, and saves lives.

St. Mary’s Food Bank

St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education. St. Mary’s distributes food to hundreds of nonprofit partners through most of Arizona. These agencies include food pantries, dining halls, homeless shelters, and more. Together we are alleviating hunger in Arizona through the gathering and distribution of food. Nearly 1 in 4 children in Arizona struggle with hunger. Our Kids Cafe®, School Pantry and Backpack programs help to feed hungry children in our communities. The Community Kitchen is a hands-on training program that teaches adults with barriers to employment to be successful in the food service industry. LIFT, a program of St. Mary’s Food Bank, is a hands-on training program that teaches adults with barriers to employment to be successful in the warehouse & logistics industry.

Creativets
Creativets

CreatiVets’ goal is to offer opportunities for relief and healing for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.  Our purpose is to use various forms of art, including songwriting, visual arts, music, and creative writing, to help disabled veterans cope with service-related trauma (i.e., post-traumatic stress, or PTS) by fostering self-expression in a way that allows them to transform their stories of trauma and struggle into an art form that can inspire and motivate continued healing. Through compassion, we are helping veterans live again. Veterans suffering from PTS re-experience traumatic events years and even decades later, reliving the helplessness, fear, and horror associated with their traumatic event. Such strong, negative reactions often lead to anxiety, sadness, anger, depression, guilt, shame, irritability, behavior changes, and thoughts of suicide. These feelings can cause the individual to avoid environments that trigger reminders of the trauma, resulting in isolation and withdrawal from society and often leading to marital problems, difficulty in parenting, job instability, drug and alcohol abuse, violence, and even suicide.

Operation Light Shine

Matt Murphy, Founder and CEO of Operation Light Shine (OLS) was on the front lines of the global war on terror as an elite special operations soldier.  Matt had virtually unlimited resources, personnel and support to wage that fight against terrible evil in the world.  In 2019, Matt’s sister, Sarah was kidnapped and murdered by sex traffickers.  Missing for almost two months her body was discovered on Christmas Eve 2019. Since Sarah’s death, Matt refocused his efforts to shine a light on yet another evil in the world, the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children.  Matt quickly saw that law enforcement agencies are woefully under resourced, understaffed and under supported in this fight. Through OLS Matt will ensure that law enforcement has the resources, staff and support they need to fight against child sexual exploitation and trafficking.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Neighbors Helping Neighbors Logo

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a Scottsdale based charity that was started in 2013 by a group of individuals that saw the need to step up and help members within their own community.  When the group was formed it was determined that our name should immediately identify our purpose, we truly are neighbors helping neighbors.  With so many charities helping on a state, national and even global level, many needs locally fall through the cracks.  With strategic partnerships and pooling the many resources of its’ members, NHN is dedicated to giving the helping hand that many of our neighbors need but unfortunately can’t find elsewhere.

Feed My Starving Children

Feeding kids. Feeding spirits. Empowering communities. Every year, millions of children die from preventable causes such as pneumonia, diarrhea, malaria and undernutrition. Hunger is still causing nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years old. From this data, we estimate at least 6,200 children die each day from causes related to undernutrition. This is heartbreaking. Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) believes hope starts with food. As a Christian nonprofit, FMSC is dedicated to seeing every child whole in body and spirit. FMSC works with food distribution partners that stay with communities for the long haul, empowering them to move from relief to development. FMSC meals are developed by food science and nutrition professionals to supplement nutritional needs and reduce problems with malnutrition. Nutrition allows children to grow, thrive and develop to their full potential.

Impact One
Impact One Women

We are all affected by breast cancer in some way. We may know someone who is a fighter, be one ourselves, or simply know someone who could be at risk. Stand together with us and help us come alongside women who are on their breast cancer journey. Remember, you are ONE. How do we help? A breast cancer patient can request items she needs and a breast cancer advocate will guide her through the process of selecting appropriate items that will help her every step of the way. We will ship Hope in a Box free of charge to the patient’s home. Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation will provide prompt support and resources to those impacted by breast cancer. Our vision is to alleviate the burden experienced by women during breast cancer treatment and recovery by offering prosthesis, bras, wigs and post-surgical garments.
